Full Christmas Stocking DIY Yarn Kits

Stitch their name, hang it every year

Oh my gosh, these stockings are some of my favorite things to make! You stitch the name right onto a chunky cable knit stocking with yarn, and it takes about an hour. Total beginners can absolutely do this one, I promise.

What's in a full stocking kit

• 1 chunky cable knit stocking in Mistletoe, Cranberry, Chestnut or Snow
• 1 pre-printed name sticker (you just stick it on and stitch over it)
• 1 skein of yarn, about 40 feet
• 2 needles, free with your first full kit

Ordering more than one?

You only need the needles once! Every stocking after your first comes with its own stocking, sticker and yarn, so grab one for each name.

Which yarn for your name

Short names (5 letters or less) look best in thick yarn. Longer names fit better in regular yarn.

Why these stockings

I tested dozens of cotton and acrylic stockings before picking these. The 100% acrylic ones held up to chunky embroidery best and kept their shape even stuffed full of presents.
